HOW TO REACH AUTUMNRED COTTAGE

Autumnred Cottage enjoys the perfect balance of the goodness of nature and the proximity to the Manali highway. Our home retreat is on the Kullu Manali highway on a slip road leading up to Sirhir Village and Manali town is just a 20 minutes drive from here.

By Road (Delhi: 13 hrs)
5 hrs- Chandigarh highway to Zirakpur
7 hrs- Zirakpur- Ropar- Bilaspur-Mandi- Aut tunnel
45 mns- Aut tunnel- Kullu- Bhuntar- Catch Factory- Raison
10 mns/2 kms- Raison Toll Plaza- Bharat Petrol Pump- left to Autumnred Cottage on a slip road leading to Sirhar Village

By Air (Delhi/Chandigarh) 
Bhuntar Airport (Kullu) - 27 kms/45 minutes to Autumnred Cottage. Local cabs are available outside the airport.

By Bus (Volvo)
Delhi - All Volvos begin at Majnu ka Tila and can be booked via apps. They start in the evenings to reach by early morning in Manali. They all stop below on the main highway and we can arrange a pick-up or you could walk up 500 mtrs to the cottage.

Important Notes

An early start from Delhi at 4am for car travellers is important as the journey is of 13 hours. After crossing the Bhuntar airport if one is close to Kullu town post 6pm it is advisable to come through the main town and not the bypass. Please inform the staff once you cross the Aut tunnel and again when you have crossed the Raison Toll Plaza. The slip road to the orchards are exactly that - slip roads that are narrow cemented, typical to orchard roads. Our staff waits for the car on the main highway to escort the guests up the narrow road. Small SUVs, Creta etc drive up to the entrance but wide turning range cars are a challenge. Bigger cars are parked at paid parking on the main highway. Our car takes you up on the day of your arrival and departure.  

SERVICES

  • Room service is not available, please reach our staff at Pine lounge, they will be happy to assist you.

  • TV with Tatasky is available at the lounges and the Walnut Room only.

  • Board games and other physical games are available in The Orchard Glasshouse.

  • Power Backup is with an inverter and a generator.

  • WIFI is available in the lounges and JIO/ Airtel dongles work perfectly. Please carry your own for personal use in the rooms.

  • Parking for 2 SUVs or 3 small cars is available at the foot of the stairs leading to Autumnred, bigger SUVs and cars with wider turn area are parked at the paid parking on the main highway.

  • Extra bed can be provided only in The Walnut Room. 

  • Fresh Homemade food is prepared by our Cook, who is available from 7:30am-3pm and 5-10pm. 

  • Staff stays at the property for any emergencies and is available from 7:30am-3pm and 5-10pm.

  • Bookings are taken for a minimum of two nights.

  • No smoking in the rooms.

  • 50 odd steps to reach the Autumnred Orchards. 

  • Beverages ordered during the day and at the time of breakfast are chargeable.

  • Procurement of goods is at a distance from the orchards, an advance notice of 24 hrs on food, drinks etc is imperative for smooth operation by the staff.

  • Driver and maid stay can be arranged in the village on first serve basis as per the actuals by the hotel which is available. Please mention all details at the time of booking as availability is not a guarantee.

  • No Loud music is permissible.

  • Housekeeping is provided on request and linen is changed every 4th day of stay.

  • Water is sourced from natural spring around 2kms away and stored. We use the recycled RO water for cleaning purposes and request guests to adhere to conservation of water.

  • Lights in the rooms are to be switched off when the guest leaves the room.

  • Nature friendly is our motto and Autumnred uses Solar panels to store electricity for usage and Solar Geyser is used for heating water. RO Water which is wasted is stored for cleaning purpose and garbage is recycled as manure.
